The Tower

Posted on 08/21/2025 by admin

Thunder drums, the sky blackened heralds
encroaching storm of deitific wrath
hurling lightning at the tall tower’s peril
shattering walls with might dispatched.
Even the strongest tower will crumble
Stones rain form highest ramparts.
Age creeping, and corrupted mortar rumbles
Showering rock, it falls mercilessly apart.
Judged and found forever wanting
your doom is lain upon the stones
final degradation of fate’s plotting
the ruination of your only home.
The tower falls, you are doomed again
forever falling into the depths of pain.
