Shambles

Posted on 08/21/202508/21/2025 by admin

Wrack and ruin are constant companions
following me throughout my wasteful life
shambolic shambling shambles walking
a minstrel courting self devastation
foolishly parading as parade must.
Everyone to observe the depredation
run away quickly, flee and dissipate
I’m not that good person to be near
but an avatar of despoilment cursed.
Leave now and let me wander all alone
you do not need to hold this empty hand.
I’m just a stain upon life’s bitter soul
I hope you fully understand.
