Outside regret

Posted on 07/12/202507/12/2025 by admin

Poisoned, pulled under the weight of regret,
leaden, drowning acrid admonishment
lungs filling with murk-ish sanguine blood soaked sin.
Poisoned, pulled under the weight of regret.

Leaden, drowning acrid admonishment
fighting back again, swimming to surface
gulping rotten air in swirling torment.
Leaden, drowning acrid admonishment.

Fighting back again, swimming to surface
the outside doesn’t feel the aching pull
gravity of glaring dark omissions.
Fighting back again, swimming to surface

The outside doesn’t feel the aching pull
an anchor latched around your very neck
fetid undecipherable hurt leaching.
The outside doesn’t feel the aching pull.

Poisoned, pulled under the weight of regret,
leaden, drowning acrid admonishment
lungs filling with murk-ish sanguine blood soaked sin.
Poisoned, pulled under the weight of regret.

This is a Catena Rondo form.
