Misogyny

Posted on 06/01/202506/01/2025 by admin

What bile and bluster is contained,
in insipid ungrateful men.
The ones who want to hijack and harangue,
shouting misogynistic slurs,
always overbearing.
Making a day about women about them,
not even passive aggressive,
who needs the passive part.
When telling rape jokes,
or fallaciously commenting.
Downplaying all that women feel and fear,
with simple lines that just echo,
“what about us men?”
As if every other day of the year isn’t enough.
