Death of Childhood

Posted on 05/11/202505/11/2025 by admin

Acidic thoughts lie deep within
Burning, aching, darkly lying
Into sulphurous, snarling sin
The childlike self slowly dying

Burning, aching, darkly lying
Adulthood approaches in heated waves
The childlike self slowly dying
No one left to care or save

Adulthood approaches in heated waves
A roaring, ravaging, rotting mass
No one left to care or save
Falling down a darkening shaft

A roaring, ravaging, rotting mass
Acidic thoughts lie deep within
Falling down a darkening shaft
Into sulphurous, snarling sin
