Autumn

Posted on 05/10/202505/10/2025 by admin

Gurgling, shushing, splashing, gushing,
Water racing often outpacing
Walkers rambling by the bank
Cagouled against the zephyr bracing.
Epitome of Autumnal meander
Leaves falling creating dander
For creatures in need of slumber
Hibernating snores laced with thunder.
OH, happy Autumn, don’t recant,
The beauty in each golden day
Crisp, burnished, benevolent
To herald us on our winding way.
