Longing

Posted on 05/29/202505/29/2025 by admin

The scent of you
lingered on the pillow,
fabric kissed deeply making it yours.
The hour had passed
even though no longer there
a ghost remained,
in a glowing mental collage.
Entwined together
whispering edicts of love
passionate solemnity.
Thoughts to keep me warm
until we meet again tonight.
