Down

Posted on 05/22/202505/22/2025 by admin

Languish here with a frown
Never up, always down
Just barely pretending to be a clown
Waltzing glumly around the town.

You say I should be Happy
A smiling, likeable, clapping chappie
With a smile a bit too gappy
And sentiment, cute and sappy.

But see here, I am down
No one else’s happy clown
A bitter resenting frown
Mouthing “fuck off” to the world.
