Marginalized

Posted on 05/12/202505/12/2025 by admin

Yellowing skin stretched over bone,
Cracking with age, lined and alone.
Decadent past, a flesh ridden tomb.
Bound in the darkness, sealed in gloom.
Thoughtless, shambolic, histrionic
A dutiful leaving of self-deceiving
Completing a mastery of discarded waste
Hiding the loathing of a saving grace.
Pulling together the illusions of self
Ignoring the tatters of mental health.
Dark, derided, scorned, blindsided
Broken utterly and misguided.
Tossed on societies funeral pyre,
For the ghouls who howl and deceitfully admire.
Flames consuming, the disabled dies
No tears shed or bitter cries.
